There is nothing in this world more fun than taking a piece of cloth, I have woven, off the loom and finishing it.
I LOVE how these turned out.
The only thing I'll change in the future is make them smaller. The pattern has them finished at 22 X 40. Way too big for me.
That size is not too big if you are actually drying dishes with them. You need the length to flip the towel over the utensil in order to hold and dry at the same time! I love them and would like 2 in colors that would match the Lake house!!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya, girl. As my mama use to say, "We'll see" about your custom order;)
ReplyDeleteMy weaving projects have slowed down again. The yard/land keeps me busy. Plus I'm stripping Nannie's dresser down to the oak for Amanda. Yesterday was a complete wipe out due to multiple bug bites that have bloomed to an itchy distraction.
wow! these are great! I'm doing a summer quilt but when that's done I might have to come have Weaving camp at Aunt Janies!
ReplyDeleteCome on over Karyn. A loom is waiting for you:)
