Latest Skinny Scarf

I love blues and seem to be on a blue streak at the moment. I'm playing around with rayon boucle and a variety of odd things I have in my accent yarn box.

The colors are not quite correct in the photo. It's a teal and blue/green with a lot of sparkle.
I think I'll include these scarves in my Woven BlingTM Collection.

On the Looms

Completed my first rag rug on the new loom.

Warped 'baby bear' loom with rayon boucle from String and Things in Valdese, NC. I'm using a 4 thread Bronson lace weave. Easy to do and looks so delicate.

Last Day of 2009

Today, the last day of the year I decided I had better get "to it" and prepare the loom for my next project - shawls.

I am using rayon boucle from Strings N Things
Measuring the warp
Tying on

Almost done with dressing the loom
Ready to weave
Whew. That always takes longer than I remember. This time it took even longer because I haven't woven since last June and am out of practice
